Update - Lupus Street Incident - 4th June |

Good afternoon all,
Please note the following update in regards to the incident on Lupus Street yesterday morning:
Police were called at around 00:06hrs on Thursday, 4 June to reports of a serious assault on Lupus Street, near the junction with Tachbrook Street. Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service. A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab injuries; he remains in a critical condition. On Thursday 4th June, a 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray. He was taken into custody, where he remains. Officers are continuing their enquiries at pace and encourage witnesses to come forward. We would like to reassure the community that we are working hard to trace those responsible. A large cordon remains in place resulting in local road closures; Pimlico Tube station remains open, but only accessible via the Rampayne Street entrance. A significant police presence remains in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 42/04JUNE or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
